We help families understand what provider-ordered home health may include before the next step is taken.
Care plan support may include
- Skilled nursing and wound care when ordered and clinically appropriate.
- Therapy at home when included in the plan of care.
- Occupational, speech, or social work support when appropriate.
Service area, provider order, eligibility, and coverage questions are reviewed before next steps. New to Medicare home health? See our plain-language guide.
What Medicare home health does not cover: 24-hour care at home, meal delivery, homemaker services unrelated to the care plan, or personal care when that is the only need. If ongoing non-medical support is the main need, compare Companion Care.

Home Health FAQs
Does Medicare cover home health care?
With Original Medicare, covered home health services cost $0 when eligibility and coverage requirements are met. Medicare-covered durable medical equipment has separate Part B deductible and coinsurance rules. A provider order, homebound status, and skilled-care need generally apply. Medicare Advantage network, authorization, and cost rules may differ; ask your plan what applies. VIGEO can review starting requirements, but Medicare or your plan determines coverage.
What services does VIGEO Home Health provide?

How do I get started?
