Care plan support may include

  • Skilled nursing and wound care when ordered and clinically appropriate.
  • Therapy at home when included in the plan of care.
  • Occupational, speech, or social work support when appropriate.

Service area, provider order, eligibility, and coverage questions are reviewed before next steps. New to Medicare home health? See our plain-language guide.

What Medicare home health does not cover: 24-hour care at home, meal delivery, homemaker services unrelated to the care plan, or personal care when that is the only need. If ongoing non-medical support is the main need, compare Companion Care.
